- 525,600 minutes, how do you measure, measure a year?
A 366-day project. My year; through the lens of my camera. Usually including vague rants or song lyrics to describe the events of the day, my state of mind, or feelings of the moment. -

37 out of 366Yet another one of those boring, slow, uninspired days. No creativity in my veins today, and it’s showing. I think looking through the archives you can kinda tell which days are like today. Anyways, I guess going home for the weekend leads to a sort of “haul” of Asian snacks and goodies that will further hinder my path to healthiness. I’m not complaining though. I love this stuff. Except maybe the coffee-flavoured polvoron (a Filipino dessert/snack made of powdered milk, sugar, butter and other add-ins), I prefer pinipig (puffed rice), peanut, or original.
So what’s in the haul this time around? Let’s see Filipino banana chips, which differ from the Caribbean variety in that they are sweet, and usually coated with sugar/caramel; Apas, thin, sugar-topped cookies, which to my knowledge, comes from the province of the Philippines where my grandparents are from (?); Shing-a-ling, fried noodle-like chips with pepper; and Strawberry cream-filled Koala Cookies (courtesy of fortunehasfallen from the Christmas break).
